Platform
Every deploy gets a server, a typed Postgres database and a live Preact client. Your TypeScript runs in V8.
- Typed Postgres database. Declare tables and indexes in your schema. Rows, query arguments and results are typed end to end.
- Live queries. Queries stay live over native WebSockets. Clients receive patches as soon as a mutation commits.
- Mutations and optimistic updates. Mutations run transactionally on the server. The client can apply an optimistic update before the reply.
- Actions. Call external services with fetch and read deployment env that never reaches the browser.
- HTTP endpoints. Expose routes for webhooks and integrations, answering with json, text or a redirect.
- Rooms and presence. Share presence, broadcasts and ephemeral state between everyone in a room.
- File uploads. Upload files from the client to bucket storage with ready-made upload and preview components.
- Preact client. A typed client with hooks, signals and a router. Import your server's type and everything is inferred.
- Crash-safe by design. App code runs in a supervised worker. A crash keeps client sockets open and saved results are recovered.
